Privacy Policy for Meshmerize

Overview

Meshmerize (“the App”) is an application for designing needlepoint patterns on iPhone, iPad and Mac. This privacy policy explains how the App handles your information.

Data Collection

We do not collect any personal data.

The App has no account system, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising and no tracking. We operate no servers that receive information from the App.

Your Patterns and Thread Stash

Your patterns, thread stash and settings are stored on your device. If you are signed in to iCloud, the App syncs your patterns and stash between your devices through your private iCloud database, which only your Apple Account can access. We cannot see this data. Apple's privacy policy governs how iCloud stores it.

Photos and Camera

When you import a photo or take one with the camera, the App reads that image on your device to build a pattern. The image is never uploaded anywhere. The App only accesses the photos you choose.

If you save an exported image to your photo library, the App asks for permission to add it. It does not read your library to do so.

Sharing and Export

PDF charts, stitch guides, images and pattern files are created on your device. They leave it only when you send them somewhere yourself through the share sheet.

Purchases

Meshmerize Pro is sold through the App Store. Apple handles payment, and the App only checks with Apple whether your Apple Account owns Pro. We never see your payment details. Manage or cancel subscriptions in Settings under your Apple Account.

Children's Privacy

The App does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to This Policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new “Last Updated” date.
