Meshmerize Support

Tap New Pattern in the library and pick a size: a recent one, a project size such as Ornament or Pillow, or your own width and height in inches with a mesh count.

Tap the tool button at the bottom of the screen and choose Pencil, Eraser, Fill or Eyedropper, then pick a color from the bar above it. On iPad, Apple Pencil draws and fingers pan and zoom. Turn on Draw with Finger in the tool list to draw with one finger instead. On iPhone, one finger draws.

Drag to move around the pattern and pinch to zoom. Double tap a stitch area to select it and open its stitch options, or double tap a color to select every touching cell of that color. A single tap clears the selection.

Select cells with Select, Magic Wand or Selection Brush, then tap Stitch at the bottom and choose a stitch. It tiles across the selection and fills the edges with shorter pieces of the same stitch. Zoom in to see the working-order numbers on one unit.

Tap the stitch button while the area is selected and tap Thread. Pick a thread already in the pattern, one from your stash, or search the catalogs for DMC, Anchor, Appleton, Paternayan, Kreinik, Planet Earth, Rainbow Gallery and more. New Thread adds one of your own.

Open the ⋯ menu and tap Threads. Each thread shows an estimate in yards or skeins, based on the stitches used and the mesh count. Add threads to your Thread Stash to see what you already have next to what you need.

Editing a thread's name or color in the Threads list or the Thread Stash updates every pattern that uses it. In the open pattern that change can be undone; in other patterns it can't.

Yes. Tap Import and choose or take a photo. Meshmerize straightens it, finds the mesh and matches each color to DMC. It works best with the whole canvas in frame, lying flat, in even light.

Tap Share and choose PDF Chart for a chart with a color key, or Stitch Guide (PDF) for the chart with stitches, numbered stitch diagrams and a thread list.

Yes, through your private iCloud account when you're signed in to iCloud on each device. Nothing is sent to us.
